Water turtles also need to dry their body, to take sunbath, for rest and the body temperature regulation.
A floating island allow turtles to swim even in an narrow aquarium and the same time easily climb out of the water. The floating island is about 1/3 immersed in water, besides its uneven surface helps turtle's claws to stick on it, and not to slip down.
Directions for use:
● Before use, please slightly wash the island with clean water.
● Place the island into vivarium, but make sure, the turtle has enough space to swim, and won't stick between the island and other objects.
● If poor little turtle looks unwell and can hardly climb on, please shallow the water level in the tank to ease its climbing.
● For sunbathing please use the special UV lamp. Make sure the temperature is not too high.
